Cruise actuator compatibility

002 545 86 32 i believe is the part number--were there two of these that i know--one where the actuator's lever points 'inwards' towards the center of the cruise actuator body, and one that points in the opposite direction. can the one that points outward be modified to work for models in which the lever points inward?

i know that w123 and w126 turbo models from 81+ had them pointing inward, and m103 engines had the same actuator pointing outward.

also, are different actuators compatible for the turbo or non-turbo engine, such as any one that has the same number of pins on the plug?

I do know the 124 (87 300d) and 126 (87 300 SDL) both use same actuator. You could search the EPC, or just look on peach parts and copy down their p/n's.

prollem is that two part numbers may be the same, but the orientation of the lever is different, like is the case between 123/126 and 201/124
