Exclamation Dead fog lights on my 300 DT!

My fog lights will not turn on. I have checked the bulbs on my 420 SEL and they work, but when I install them on the 300 DT, they will not come on. Is there a fuse that I am missing? Any answers will be greatly appreciated! Thanks

it could be the headlight switch that is broken, since you've tested the bulbs and it works on your other car

300 DT? What is that?
I have to assume it is a 300D Turbo, a 123 body or 124 body? Year would help.

Check the fuse: fuse good? check bulb: bulb good? check grounds: grounds good? check power at hot wire: power good? check switch....the easiest is often the most likely. Can't really do good flow charts in HTML.

Since I was summoned, you have a 300D. The turbo is to add power, not to be used as an identifier.
When in doubt of what your car is officially called, refer to that trunk badge of truth.........

Check out the info Charlie gave you. A logical place to start.

i use the turbo as a prestige and rank identifier. those who lack the T at the end just have a regular old non-turbo benz, which is really not considered as cool or prestigious as a turbo. it's a known fact

Well, I'm new with the diesels and the badge on the bact says"300 Turbo Diesel" so thats what I call it. Get a life and quit riding me about how I address my car. If you have an answer to my question, thank you. If you do not, just go on to another post and quit acting like you are the only one that knows these cars. I have gotten alot of help from this forum and I do not need some idiot coming into my post and talking about something other than what I am asking. You know what I am talking about in my post so once again...If you have an answer then thank you. Otherwise...see ya!

Do a search for 300 dt and you will learn that it is a very serious matter indeed that could effect function of your fog lights in the sense that you'll get ribbed about it and miss the important information in the mix!

LOL, what you stumbled into is basically a running joke that has been going on for years; a friendly discussion of the correct designation for these cars. Don't take it personally, it doesn't really have anything to do with your post; you just gave them an excuse to have this debate for the 1000th time.

Can I get you a tissue........

That was riding you? That is funny.

You got so rattled that now you forgot the "D". That is the most important letter of all!!

Looks like the last sentence of my post affirmed the correct information you were seeking. If you can't take even the most simplistic of nad busting then you're gonna find out that this world is a big scary place.
Which brings us back to my first sentence above......
