All set for a R&R of my '80 300SD's vacuum pump first thing tomorrow (Saturday). I have read through every archived thread that I can find, but still need to know the size of the hex-head socket for the bolts holding the pump to the engine block. Thanks in advance for any help.

5mm, but it's not hex, it's allen. best to use a long 5mm allen built into a socket

Does the 80SD have the dual diaphragm pump like the 79SD? If so, can you take pictures of the disassembly? I don't think there are any pictures on the forum of the dual diaphragm pump.
