Euro headlight wiper installation

anyone have a link to a conversion to euro headlight wipers? this is one of my next projects for the 300d-T. in particular, how difficult is it to integrate the wiring harness into a car that didn't have the harness to begin with?

Is this a 123 or a 124 SEV?

w123 300d-T. yeah, there's tons of w124's and w126's with headlight wipers--i'm in need of the w123 ones, which seem to be very rare here in the states. tried to get a few from people breaking cars on ebay.co.uk but the shipping prices i was quoted were ridiculous

so, how about it, has anyone tried to retrofit wipers successfully? how hard was integrating the wire harness?

Its not that hard to fit the wiper system. You have to drill a 1/2" hole in the fender for the wiper motor shaft, get a washer tank with 2 pumps, make up a wiring harness (follow the UK wiring diagram in Haynes manual), and add squirter nozzles to the bumper.

The motor gets the signal to run when you have the headlight on and push the windshield squirter button. It will run by itself for 2 cycles, then turn off.

what i'm hoping to avoid is splicing into my existing wiring harness by using the stock wiring harness that came with the car and hopefully plugging it in. when i saw a wiring harness for it recently on eBay it looked like it had a plug on both ends, which leads me to believe it plugs in to existing plugs on the wiring harness.

i am fully aware of the need to route washer nozzles from a washer tank with two pumps--i did this whole thing to my 190e, it was a major pain i'd like to avoid
