I owned that car, and it was leather interior, complete with raw hide cracking.

Indeed it is....it has the flat pleats, and more of them. Definitely leather....kinda rare for a W123....most seem to have tex...

You really can't ignore a nice English Red W115. The image is slightly saturated, making colors more vivid.

Under different lighting conditions, car colors (especially these older single stage paints) may appear different. Under fluorescent light my car looks different than under direct sunlight. Then there also is the effect of sunset colors, or images taken on a bright day, but in the shade.

I've hardly seen diamond blue or pearl black metallic on a W123, but they're equally nice. Gives them a more modern look due to the tone of the paint, but depending on how you modify the look you can also make them look classic.

1982, and I do not have the VIN. Leather was optional on W123s.

haha. by the way guys, this colour was popular in the early 70's, especially on american muscle. i still own my mom's second car, a '70 firebird esprit, painted orbit orange. same colour as the gto judge. there were plenty of hemi's in similar orange red
Don't ignore him
Anyway, Sev you're also a Pontiac fan... same here. I owned 2 GTO's before but in Verdoro Green ('70 hardtop) and plain 'ole classic white ('70 convertible). However, I really liked Carousel Red (on a '69 Judge) and Orbit Orange (on a '70).

oh, no. not you. i meant brandon slc, but i didn't really mean it. um, yeah, the 70's had a lot of pastel colors that found their way into mb's paint department: surf blau, china blau, colorado beige, etc. i think it was because american muscle cars were painted these colors and mb wanted to imitate.
