Red face Please help me place this bolt on my 603

Well, this is embarrassing. I'm nearly finished getting my OM603 back together after R&R'ing the head, and upgrading the alternator. I now find I have an "extra" 10mmx16 socket-head bolt, without an obvious place to put it. I remember removing it, but can't recall from where. Yeah, I know, I should have labeled everything. Anyone recognize this orphan?

Well, it's a loner, wherever it belongs. And it's short and fat, with evidence of loctite on the threads. The crossover is in place, and I can't see where this might be attached there.

Also, it's a grade 8.8 bolt.

Jeesh, I would almost say fan clutch to coolant pump pulley - but it is a little short for that

Mystery solved, I think. It fits onto a bracket on the intake side of the turbocharger. The giveaway was the residue of orange thread-locking compound still in the hole. Must be high-temp compound, though, and I don't have any of that.

I'm sure Carquest (the old B&B)/Napa/Schucks downtown Redmond; all on Redmond Way except Napa which is kitty corner from the Arco... sort of, would carry the stuff.

Looks like Loctite 272 is the correct item.
