replacing cigar hose
I got myself a some viton hose for my fuel lines. I've read somewhere that replacing the cigar hose with a regular size hose, will cause a pulsing.
Are you guys against using a regular hose to replace the cigar hose?

I replaced mine with a regular hose when I had a w123 and I noticed a pulsing. Just put the proper cigar hose. biodiesel will degrade fuel lines faster than diesel but IIRC the workshop manual says fuel lines should be replaced every 5 years or some.
Hoses are cheap anyways. |

I have a regular hose on my 300D with no pulsing. Viton hose has thinner walls than regular hose. Make sure you hose clamps fit snugly over your Viton "cigar" hose or it'll blow off.r

What's the purpose of the cigar hose anyway?? I've never had one on mine in 7 years and I wonder what I've been missing.

K I changed them. The clamps are firmly attached. Not sure if I feel or hear a pulsing...
