Two of the smaller ski areas opened last week, I'll probably go sometime this week.

thanks for the laugh... There's only a problem if you try to turn or stop on ice. Once the mass is in motion it will keep moving.

Glad you stopped and made it safely. I've done a few crossing on I-80 in summer and winter. It seems like their more prepared on I-80.

For the record. The last 2 weeks have been record breaking heat in Central Florida.

WHY IS IT STILL WARM IN CALIFORNIA >_<

-______________________________________________________________-

WHY DO THE WEATHER GODS HATE ME?!?!?! LOL

Just one day of rain is all I ask for, one day!!! And what to I get? A high of 99 on wednesday! I wanted to push my 220 up a mountain just to be in rain and I checked the forcast and it's not going to get rain now

There is no place near me within 100 miles that has snow, or rain for that matter... I'm dying over here I saw a sign for one of our local casinos for a "thunder and lighting" indian pow wow. Well it didn't do jack because I have yet to see one storm!!!! I haven't seen rain since March and it wasn't even rain, it was spitting I know you all say snow gets hella old after awhile but you know what I don't care and wouldn't mind moving to freakin Antarctica! Y'all are lucky ducks for actually getting real weather, and having to use block heaters and having a nice cup of hot coffee in your warm and dry mercedes with snow and rain outside, or getting those awesome thunderstorms with big flashes of lightning and heavy rain to point where the windshield wipers aren't going fast enough. I just want some rain, just maybe even an hour of it, SOMETHING!!! I hate it here weather wise, I'm all about the awesome crazy storms/weather and I'm in a place where it's NEVER like that.

Even the weather people here are like "it's going to be a day of rain, but not to worry, it'll be sunny tomorrow!" Really? We get like one day of rain out of 365 days in the year and you're telling me to look forward to ANOTHER sunny day? I'm surprised they sell windshield wipers in our auto parts stores... They probably sell them for out of state people who come through and need to change theirs when they get back home! Ugh

Rant off, ugh I just want weather, for once.... I'm so jealous of all of you! The last time I actually saw real rain and some snow was in december! 9 months ago! It's been happy and sunny here for 9 months!!!! Can you blame me for going crazy LOL sorry to rant in this thread... I just want some awesome and crazy weather

Walking isn't a lost art: one must, by some means, get to the garage.
