You say that you've bypassed the ignition switch for a pushbutton start, correct? Have you done anything to activate the glow plugs when you are about to start the car since it is not on the traditional ignition switch? Do you still use the regular key ignition to turn on accessory power and to shut down? It seems stupid, but nobody has mentioned it yet.

As far as I know, the tools used on the front 4 are the same tools used on the last one.

That one closest to the firewall, #5 can be difficult to get to, but it's the same size as the rest. I have only used Bosch. Replace #4, what makes you think you have a bad wire on #1?

Good news, 4 of my 5 glow plugs have high resistance. Thats why the glow Plug light was off and I was unable to start. After 7 1/2 hours I had them swaped out. Plug #1 had a burr on the thread (engine side) I found out the hard way what happens when you run a car llike this. First you hear an explosion and see lots of smoke and and errie firecracker like noise. At least I'm back greasin again. I'm so happy. And for some reason my horn works.

At one point I turned the engine over and the GP Relay module touched somthing metal and popped the plate fuse. (More smoke) The new fuses I bought are 1/66 the thicness of the original. It says 30AMP. Looks like a toy.

That should be an 80 amp strip fuse.
