Where is that? I am going to have the 300sd on the road soon so I might help the local economy if he isnt too far.

I usually use Mobil diesel its about 2.61, the motor seems to run a bit better by using it.

Interesting discussion, here is my 2 cents worth.
where I reside, the city by the bay only has one tanker truck fuel distribution center.
one day an old man said to me no matter what name is on the fuel station ,the fuel is the same
in every location, sure enough I went down to the distribution center to verify his claim,
as I sat and watched the fuel tanker trucks came in with all different logos on them,
when they leave the fueling center, they are carrying the same fuel.

Good ol' Bay City. I grew up in Midland. Small world.

I get from who ever is the cheapest. As Tango said, It`s all the same until it is in the truck then it is branded.

Lacally here I get it in Felton at the quick Stop.

When Iam heading over to Nevada or up to Oregon I get it at Joes Truck Plaza in Lathrope. He is usually cheaper that Flying-J even with my discount card.

When Iam in Carson City, I get it at the Eagle Station run by a bunch of Camel Jockies. station is run down looking dump, but never had bad from there.

On my way to Portland, I stop in Cottage Grove at the Safeway station. they have the best price with the safeway discount card.

The majority of Valero`s are priced high, and I stay out of them.

Years ago I bought fuel depending on what the give away was, S&H Green Stamps, Blue Chip Stamps, or the green bumpy glass etc........

Usually the local Kwik-E-Mart right around the corner if the pump is open, usually in the same general price range of the cheapest. If there are more than two cars waiting for the gas/diesel pumps I'll go on down to the next one. I'd pay $.10/gal more just to not have to deal with the clowns waiting in line. Waiting-for-fuel etiquette has gone right out the window. I've never had an issue with any of our local diesel distributors, either with my TD or with our work trucks. Maybe we're just lucky?

I used to piss off so many people at this Kwik fill I used to go to since the only diesel pumps were at one end of the station. To complicate matters we have the tank on the one side.

Nothing makes me feel better watching a bunch of gassers stare at my MB awesomeness

When I lived in Hampton Roads, VA, there was a Citgo station that had LSD cheaper than the going price for ULSD. Nowadays, wherever I am when I need to fill up.

There are two stations I'll stay away from forever: the BP in Williamsburg, VA (where they pumped diesel all over my car and then charged me for it) and the Shell near Norfolk Naval Base (64/564/Granby) that charges, literally, an entire dollar more per gallon than everywhere else in the region.
