Mobil Delvac 2 for the price of 1, not an oil thread!

For those who use it, I thought you might like to know, Schucks/O'Reilly's is having a sale on Mobil Delvac 15w-40. Buy one gallon for 12.99 get one free. Pretty good deal. Cheers!

On the west side of the state it'll be fine. Winter temps there rarely drop below 30. When mine had 15w-40 dino in it the first winter I had it there were no problems at all even on the coldest day.

That's kind of my situation here in NC. I am wondering if I should run 5w40 this winter or just stick with 15w40.

(1) Is this a diesel-rated oil?
(2) Is this a full synthetic, a dino oil, a pseudo-synthetic, a blend, or what?
The current Mercedes recommendation is Mobil-1 synthetic 0W-40.

You can go back three times (three rebates is the max on the Mobil certificate). Yes, it is a diesel rated oil.

I don't think an unused engine oil will go bad...

What are the odds of buying 30,000 miles worth of oil and the engine going out first? In my case, the investment might backfire. Still tempting!
