which lines to block for shut off
My computer is doing weird things... can't sue certain parts of g-mail, and when I click 'search' I only get teh top corner of the box... so in the meantime I want to be able to shut off my car. Which are lines going to the doors? Maybe that will help isolate the problem, although my brakes feel weak, so I'd assume the leak was before the booster.

If your brakes are weak you either have a big leak in the main vacuum line going to the booster or a bad vacuum pump. Plugging the yellow line under the hood will cut out all the door locking components.

Sounds like a bad vac. pump. Disconnect the 19mm vacuum fitting at the brake booster and with the car running plug the hole with your thumb. You should fool a moderate/strong suction. Do this with all lines disconnected from the main vac pipe and all the nipples plugged. A vacuum gauge is also a good thing to buy if you own a w123.
The yellow lines with stripes are the door element lines. Green striped line is your climate control which leaks just as often as doors.
