It seems like a stretch, but would anyone be interested in helping me swap AC compressors during this? I'd leave the belt off of course until I do everything else, it's just be nice to have a third hand and Pierre around.

well, there's a slight chance I'll be bringing a 73 450SEL instead. I offered a guy 500 for one, and I'm waiting to see if he'll take it.
It will need a fuel pump I think and a battery, at minimum...along with some major cleaning.

I'm tentative.... I am going to see if a buddy wants to bring his SD, I think 83 or 84. Probably bring my 85 wagon.


Anyone else from the Jacksonville area? We can caravan down

anyone have an 80 SD? whatever the pre w126 body style was? I have a door to get rid of.

I have some ther stuff to. I'll post in the classifieds and let me know if you want it delivered.

I'll be doing the transmission filter and fluid change. aaand maybe dif fluid as well.
