96 e300d cant open hood

Hi guys
Cant open hood. I have the cable with little barrel on the end I
pulled it with the pliers,the drivers side pops up but not the other side
what can I do? Thanks Greg

May need a friend to pull the pliers in the cabin while you gently press down on the hood to try to get it to release.

hood

Hi Thanks for the reply
I done this, The hood moves up and down in the latch I hear it. Is the
cable broke completely? Whats next? I hate to have to take it to the
shop ( how much ) . Thanks Greg

Are you pulling with the pliers on the cable in the cabin, or at the grill?

hood

Hi Guys
I had AAA come to get the hood up he couldnt do it.He pulled the
wire from the grille while I pushed the hood down no go. How do you
get the hood up if the wire is broke? Thanks Greg
