I'd carefully introduce water through a vac hose on a gasser. Solvents show increased soft metal and bearing wear. I don't know of a gasoline product designed to be run straight as a cleaner... Don't most gasers these days have the fuel pump in the tank???

they make a few products. valve clean LM 2001, jectron injector cleaner LM 2007, carburetor and valve cleaner LM 2036. these are all added to the fuel. they also make two other products that might be a bit more effective but you are suppose to be a professional tech to use them, pro-line intake system purge LM 2031, and pro-line fuel system cleaner concentrate LM 2031.

3m makes a system which both attaches to the fuel rail and in the tank.

Salt Water

"Good grief!!!
seafoam this and seafoam that
it is perfect and truly amazing
it does it all as a matter of fact
consider it as motorcycle bling
will even reduce excess body fat
tunes the pipes for those that sing
buy it, keep their profits in the black"

You didn't educate me or convince me. What is the negative effect of Seafoam in the tank with a few gallons of fuel on a gasser. Thanks

While I was at NAPA today getting carb cleaner, two people came in looking for Seafoam. I think I might try some...

What I like is the fact that it is readily available locally, rather than the Lubro which I cannot find anywhere but online.

What I did/do is run the tank almost empty 1-2 gallons and then add to the tank and drive it pretty hard or at least so it gets warm. For 6 bucks it's a deal compared to having a shop do the same thing. I think you can add it through a vacuum line but the tank is easier. Thanks

I've used sea foam on every car I've owned, including my diesel (it is diesel safe). It basically does the same thing...cleans everything like crazy and spits it out the exhaust...I've had very good results, much smoother running than prior to treatment. Make sure you're in a very open space, it can make a lot of smoke on gas engines.
