Voltage regulator
So I'm having charging issues and turns out the brushes on the voltage regulator are very worn.
Locally I have some options: A Bosch replacement for too much money from the dealer, another Bosch one for a better price waaaay across town, and then another one for $30 something made by BWD at a local place maybe 1/2 mile from my house. My question is, who the heck it BWD, or Borg, or something like that? I would love to hop on my bike and pick this one up rather than somehow trekking miles across town to get the cheaper Bosch replacement...... Any info? thanks! mark |

The one I need is part #1 197 311 090, Bosch.
I know I can get one at various places online, and even locally with some travel, I just wanted to know if anyone has had luck with this BWG company or whatever...... mark |

^ Never heard of 'em. The Bosch unit from ******** is around $25.
But check on the buy parts button at the top of the page.
