Another headlight question. US or euro?

I was recently at the junkyard and they have an 83 ( i think) 300sd up there. the headlight are not like mine, recessed with standard sealed beams. They almost look euro with the solid glass in front but I find it unlikely, this car didnt look like the owner would have opted for those. so is there a US spec light that looks somewhat similar to the euro? And if so are they worth picking up, Said they want $50 for them. Wish I had got pics but if they are worth it Ill get them and post them up.
I tried looking for a thread with the different varieties but with no luck. Couldof sworn I saw that at some point.

OK,Score! they are indeed Bosch. Got them for $50, they are missing the back caps and the pas. side has a little poc in the middle, thinking maybe I can repair it with windshield repair, its not noticeable but I dont want it to spread. Now I just need clear corners.
