I had and '85 123 diesel. It was cool but cramped for the driver. My kids loved it. You would not want to be the driver for long distances unless you where 5'5" or shorter. It was slow until you got up to speed. It would roll nicely at 75 - 85 MPH on the Interstate. Kids still miss it. It was a blast to ride around on Halloween!

You would NEVER get enough air conditioning in the back to keep the passengers comfortable. That is a winter limo only......

It's a 250 with a 3.8L V8, not a 300D. Trunk badge reading FAIL.

I like the 123 better, but I would ditch the cabinetry and install additional seats.

They're factory standard on 86-91 w126 models, on the driver's side only. The one on the passenger's side, *AFAIK* has got to be a retrofit of one of the drivers' side units. They might have made one for over there but I've never heard of it. Definitely a standard feature on the 2nd gen though on the driver's side.

Oh good point, I missed that big time....hmm, the 3.8 single row timing chain V8....I'd have stuck with the 617

Although I do think this is the first time i've seen a W123 with a V8 so thats pretty cool.

That thing is probably mighty slow with a 617 in there. That needs a 560, then I'd want it.

I wonder why they used a 123 air hose to the cleaner... that does not fit.
