Does 300SDL have a Cigar Hose?!

Should the 300SDL have a cigar hose on the fuel return line or a straight regular hose?! I've read a bit about the cigar hose eliminating some IP pulses and got me thinking: my 300D has it but my SDL doesn't - should it have it?!

The 603 uses cloth covered hose for injector return lines. I think it is referred to as cigar hose.

Old thread, I know.

Hummm...mine does...I wonder who put it on? That explains why Peach Parts does not carry it!

Mine is about shot. Nice to know I can just replace it with regular hose.

Thanks for the posts above.

Jim

If the need is there I would still not replace it with straight hose.

Started to look at replacements for my 93 300SD.

Kind of looks like a skinny cigar-ish hose.

Believe from the EPC it is part number A 603 078 05 81.

That I believe is a custom hose.
