Possibility for replacement of 603 cracked heads

check out http://www.coatesengine.com/eGallery/pages/6cylmerc.htm
I wonder if they could build a head for the 603 that loses the cracking problem, and possibly would give it 24 valve performance....
Just a thought...

it's a rotary valve cylinder head... No poppet type of valves... they say it's a lot more efficient than a poppet type of valve... Pretty cool reading through the whole site....

Interesting, looks like a gasser. Is that an S-class chassis or a 123 with Euro headlights?

I'm sure they could build you a head so long as you had lots of money.

not sure about the chassis, but if one could convince them there was enough of a market for those heads, you might be able to get it made for a reasonable cost... I hemified head would be really cool.....

Interesting...I only wonder how much $$ it would involve, and what other changes would need to be made.
