No vacuum in my 240D, either bad pump main vacuum line or brake booster. Actually got an unknown vacuum pump on a 616 on an engine stand, and a spare booster acquired w/ said engine. Any harm in swapping the pump once the culprit is known, or is it better to spend on rebuild kit? For that matter, I've got another on a 617 in the yard.
