Anyone have a 1989 190d?
 

There is an advertisment on craigslist (http://charlottesville.craigslist.org/cto/1471526113.html) for a 1989 190d and I am going to go look at it on Monday of next week.

What is a good price for this type of car? I have a 1982 240D that I love.

Those generally command decent prices....the lowest I've seen around here was in the 1.5-2k range for a decent one....I'd look that thing over with a fine tooth comb if he's only asking 1k.....there must be a reason why the price is so low.

They are a cool car though, very fuel efficient, but a bit small inside. A lot smaller feeling than a 240d.

My sister has a 190e 2.3 and its a neat car, but a lot faster than a 190d. :D

It should be gone before you get there on Monday, unless there is something seriously wrong with it. Take the afternoon off an get over there right now. If it runs and drives ok, it's worth twice what he's asking.
