300TD brake Servo Hose

I need a new fitting on my brake Servo hose, http://www.allpartsexpress.com/item.wws?sku=MBZ013516&itempk=59463&mfr=Genuine&weight=0.47 my question is, do I need to replace it or Can it be left as is with the port blocked off, it's a vac line that goes to an unknown place, Does anyone know where this line goes? my thought was the transmission but I dont know...

You are better off just replacing that vacuum line with a new or good used one.
