1985 300SD ABS gone
 

ok so for the past 2 months or so my antilock brake light would come on then when i turned my car off it would turn off... didn't think anything of it. then when i came to a stop my ABS would kick in even if i'm not stopping suddenly, and it make a kinda winding noise. then last night i was out in the reain and i had to slam on the brakes and i skid, no ABS at all... is there anything i can do to fix my ABS? or am i outa luck. and how much do you think a new ABS system would cost me?
