Question Fuel Bib Hose - What Size and Type?

Okay, the search gods have failed me yet again. Anyone ever replace the fuel-bib drain hose? Curious as to what size and type of hose used as I found some way-too-big vinyl clamped on with some type of new biological growth going on inside as is was all kinds of kinked and collapsed. So I'm pretty sure that's not original!

Well I guess this is a good "stump the chumps" question if you ever want to throw your favorite W123 know-it-all under the bus! Ended up using 5/8" ID fuel hose and a brass double-barb fitting for the through-body and it looks almost original. I suspect the OE hose is molded to make the little S-turn by the passenger-side tank bracket, but as long as this hose doesn't collapse and twist like the crap the PO put in I should be in good shape.

You didn't mention which car, but here's a shot from my CD.
Don't know the size of the drain line.

Sorry, it was a 300D and as mentioned in previous post I found the ID of the hose is 5/8". Its fitment is to the other side of the drain in your pic. We're putting the fuel tank back in today so I'll try to snap a pick of my hack job for those interested.

We gots us a pic

Although you can't really see it there's a 5/8" brass double-barb going through the hole to the underside of the trunk where I've got another short section of hose clamped on so any spilt fuel doesn't dribble on the driveshaft boots.
