My B2 Piston failed!!
 
Looks like its going to be a fun weekend project. I was wanting to know where does this part goes to "Piston Bushing for Brake Band B-2" part number #006 997 73 47

It is a sleeve.

In this pic it is the original metal version located behind the black rubber seal.

I recommend that you change the metal version out with the plastic version along with the updated piston.

Lucky, this is what failed on my transmission in August :eek: Never did figure out exactly where it came from, but it was in the pan.....and it had something to do with 4th gear and reverse....

mine slips out on 1st gear all other gears are fine. is that metal sleeve easy to remove or do you need to use something to pry out that thing...

You will have to pry it out. I got a hook behind mine and got it out. keep it straight when pulling so it doesn't bind. good luck thanks
