New servo equals no shut off

Just replaced the original climate control servo on my 1980 300sd with an aluminum unit. I noticed right after the replacement that my car took about three seconds to shut off, something it didn't do before. Now the car won't shut off at all. Is it possible that this new servo could cause a vacuum leak to the extent that if affects the car shutting off?

Not just possible, likely. Are all the connections the same as the old one?

What was wrong with the old servo? I'm guessing the new servo is activating a vacuum pod the old servo didn't and the pod is leaking.

Ok, the problem may not have been with the servo after all. After some experimenting, I was able to get the car to shut off after plugging the green line with black stripe. It will not hold vacuum. It is located by the brake servo with a couple of other vacuum lines which head into the car. Anybody know what this green line with black stripe goes to?
