Easy vac line question
Ok seems like the vac diagram sticky is all but broke,
I did a valve job on my 81 SD this weekend and the vac lines that go in the junction plug on the top of the valve cover made their way out and I have no idea how they go back in. I only found three. is that all there is, bucause under the black box every port has a hose. My car wouldnt shut down today on a few errands so hopefully it is because of these and not some other line I gotta trace down. |

Cool, thanks. That will help. So out of curiosity why is there openings with hoses behind them?

I can only speculate they had a bunch of these around, there's no harm in the open orifices.
This is a pic of the bottom of the unit that came off my SD.

This picture should help. This is the way those lines are on my car. Not all ports are used as you can see, I think they are to vent in certain situations.
