Model 123 service manual library pdf ?
Hello all,
Just received my manual & installed 5.0 PDF like program asks. Still does not recognizes it on computer. Can still enter manual though. Needs PDF 8 or 9 reader to open actual manual. I downloaded 9.2(free) onto computer. Do I have to have specific 8 or 9 reader to open up. Saw a standard 9 on adobe & they want 299.00 for software:eek:. Theres got to be another way of getting this opened up. Anybody have this CD from MB can help me ? Thanks. Rob Have to see what 8 costs if thats the case. |
I struggled for months, this computer used to open them fine, now the cd-roms crash it. Any later version of Adobe is backward compatible. Those cd-roms are very difficult to open, I've found. Finally I was able, on a different computer, to transfer the info to an external storage device and load into both my pc and mac and can now access all the info.

Adobe Reader is a free download from Adobe. PDF995 is a nice, FREE tool that will let you create PDF's from say a word document. You do have to deal with PDF995 ads though, but it's not bad.
This would allow those who post documents to this site to do so as a PDF. |
I have been runing my 123 CD Service Manual direct from my DVD Player or my CD Player. I have windows XP Home (year 2000). It runs on Adobe 5 on mine.
Where I have a problem is if I close the pdf. That removes the whole thing not just the pdf. It is not a serious problem as I just have to remember to open all the pdfs I need and close them all at one time. If I close the pdfs sometimes it will close out what ever internet site I am viewing with the exceptionof the internet Home Page. |
try foxit reader, it's a good quick fast pdf reader. they offer creators also as well as editors. anyway, the reader is waaaay faster and simpler than adobe's bloatware.

Cute pdf works well too for grabbing webpages , documents etc and is free, with no ads.

Browse the cd, go into the program folder, and open matrix.htm. This bypasses the (broken) adobe checker, and lets you use any PDF viewer you choose, on any platform you choose.
