Odd sound, '84 CD, transmission?

Any help is appreciated.
This just started after a valve adjustment and waste gate(?) hose replacement. Motor mounts good, no scrape marks on the torque convertor. Just serviced the transmission, yes, drained the TC too, fluid looked and smelled good, shifts fine.
You can hear me on and off the throttle, only noticeable at near to full throttle, audible from the cabin only.

You check the exhaust to make sure no leaks. Also did you peak in the trans bellhousing window to see if the flex plate to the torque converter is not cracked?

Having just been under the car to change the transmission fluid/filter, I inspected the exhaust system too, no issues that I could tell. I spent time trying to see anything obviously "wrong" at the trans/engine interface.
Again, I cannot hear anything unusual under hood or under the car when it's revved up, just the cabin.
Thanks tho.
