Differences in CCU Units
are there differences in how CCU units control the HVAC system by year? I guess what I am asking is are CCUs interchangeable by year?

I think there are different number of pins on the plugs and mounting tabs are different.

Which model are you referring to?
I believe all 300Ds are the same unit from 82-85. But the 300SDs are different. Do a parts search and compare the part numbers to verify.
