looked in haynes manual for answer and didn't find it
what is the normal pressure range one should expect to see when doing a compression check on a 84 yr model 300tdt engine.
what would be the minimal excepted pressure? what would be the max deviation between highest and lowest cylinder pressures that would be acceptable? |

Anything over 300 is good, you're looking for less than 15% difference between cylinders. Do a valve adjustment first.

You can get the Factory Service Manual on CD for $19.99 + $7 shipping. Way more info than in the Haynes Manual. Also way more correct info.
