2005 CDI cabin filter replacement
 

I can't find anything in the manual about this. Can an amature DIY'r attempt this? If so, where can I find instructions and where is it located? Thanks for any help.

lws1-the filter is located in the upper left corner under a plastic cover. I've replaced mine twice I think. I think a 10mm socket is used to take off one nut and the cover then can be taken off. There are a couple of plastic catches to be aware of so just go slow as not to break these. The fulter just lays there I think. Once the cover is off it will be apparent. steve

Thanks, Steve. I will try to get to it this weekend. I keep getting a moldy smell when I first turn on the air. I have only had the car 3 months and it didn't do it when I drove it for the first month. Hope it's as simple as this.
