EGR Transducer: Elective Surgery?
On the 92 300D, I observed sluggish acceleration on the low end. Diagnosis is that I need to replace the EGR transducer. Any great harm in letting this go for a while if I'm willing to live with slow acceleration? I realize there's a potential safety issue, and for that reason alone I'll probably replace it. But beyond that, anything to worry about?
I guess I can thank the EPA for this repair....

Not to worry it will be a bit slow,or you can run a full vacuum line direct to the waste gate actuator and it will be a bit more peppy than it should but if you drive gently it wont hurt anything till you can get it fixed. The real fix is to eliminate all that stuff onthe passenger side inner fender and replace you actuator with a pressure operated one and eliminate alot of expense and head ache.Do a search for GSXRs waste gate change there is all the info there that you need to make one of the best modifications that you can do to that car, just one of those transducers will cost you way more than the change if you are a DIY person. It is a one time fix where repairing that system the car came with is never ending.
