Anyone know of a mechanic that specializes in W123s? Need to find a good trustworthy mechanic in Dallas. Thanks!

Thanks Jimmy... I may give him a call after the Holidays. My "China" needs to be serviced and just cant pay the "premium" at Parks Place anymore. It has been serviced there its whole life, but think it is time for a good indie.

David Poole is a regular poster here with a small shop in Dallas, give him a ring. Nice guy. There is Sam & Joe's in the Arlington area also.

MB mechanic

If Colleyville isn't too far then Don Boland is the guy to see. He did work for me about 10 years ago when I lived in Dallas. My 300SD is still going strong. Tell him the Doctor who moved to CA referred you! Good luck,

Also take a look at the previous post

GREAT DFW area Indy. Promise!

I agree that once you go to him you won't go elsewhere.

Will

Smile In Frisco, Tx

If your closer to Frisco then give Gordy a try. He has done several jobs for me and was originally trained on Mercedes. Looks like he updated his website too recently. He is today reworking my 300D 's Transmission.

Uh oh. What exactly does "reworking" involve? Just tuning your shifting?

How much is a tranny rebuild at that place? My white wagon could be "on the clock"......

I too am curious about this, my 300sel is getting awfully slow into reverse. The SDL is not too far behind.

Well Keep in mind that I removed the Transmission myself.

So his rebuild for me is around 1200 ish. I'll have to tell you what that includes later.
