Nice. Welcome to the club of MB owners with a demon at the heart of the climate control system.

Very nice! Love the color combo. Looks like you've got some nice garages, too ...

Actually they are my parents very nice garages. I had to travel to Reno from Salt Lake City to find a decent example of a 116.

I just drove it back to Salt Lake City from Reno. It drives like a dream on the highway. Here is what I need to fix:

Passenger motor mount
car won't turn off and doors wont auto lock and unlock
needs new blower motor
seats need some treasting as they are dry and crack when cold
drivers lower chrome piece is missing
needs new battery
rear window seal needs to be replaced

I did pick this one up for only $1000 though!

I will fix everything on the way y myself. Any advice on these reapirs?

Perhaps you should list why you think the car needs these repairs. Then we can help (obviously not the lower chrome piece etc as that is pretty obvious but why do you say it needs a new blower and other?)

PS, I've got a pile of 116 parts from the one I parted. Lots of trim stuff I'll never use. Wish you were closer. You could just come over and take what you need.

The seating surface drying and cracking can be solved easily. But we need to know if your seating surfaces are leather or MB-Tex. Each one requires a different method of repair.
