Well that is good news. I thought it was hard to believe that something like this would not be available. My local Euro auto parts store must have meant that they (through their supplier) sold the last one to me.

Do we know that these will be produced into the future? Just because they are available from someplace doesn't mean that they are still in production...

No, we do not.

The supply chain is generally three months + whatever the supplier stock is.

Unless MB jerks the license, then the manufacturer must recall stock for destruction.

Update

Add this to the list.

Diesel Injection Pump Lock Pin - Early Model. Locks Diesel Pump Cam To Maintain Timing During Pump Installation...om615, 616, 617, 621

EDIT: This one is strange, availability changes at random.
Several times in the past several years, it was listed as discontinued, only to return weeks later = cause unknown.

I am looking for that valve right now... not shifting up properly and I believe it to be the culprit. I found one by brand MTS, but not sure if it is worth buying? Only $18.88 for theirs.

Seems like a pretty simple part... if it were your car, would you go with Mercedes or MTS? $72ish versus $18ish

For the cost, the durability is reasonably good on this part.
