BROKEN PLASTIC - accelerator cable

I noticed the accelerator cable(bowden cable ???) has a broken plastic piece with a threaded end. Is this part available separately?

I don't know if it's available, but the bowden cable is what controls the rpm at which the trans shift. The 123 chassis cars all that throttle linkages, no cable. You could certainly find one at the junkyard.

I think you're talking about the nut that adjusts what RPMs the transmission should shift at.

You know there's an old cliché that says, " A picture is worth a thousand words"

You need to read these threads for correct adjustment.

Two threads the same title, but different authors and content.
