83 300sd cruise still acting wacky, please help!!!
I thought after i had replaced the amp in my 300sd, all was fine. THe cruise was acting fine and working etc. UNTIL we took it up to atlanta today/yesterday. The cruise won't work unless you wiggle all the wires, move the actuator manually, and restart the car(not sure if all are necessary). Then you can engage the cruise control ONCE. YOu can hit your brakes and hit resume and it will work fine, but once you cancel it or try to re-set it your done untill you wiggle all the wires and restart it again. Does anyone have any idea what this could be? thanks in advance, a timely response is greatly appreciated as i'm in atlanta right now and would like for it to be fixed for the drive home on saturday, if it's something i can do without new parts. Thanks,
