W201 visors in a W123?

Will they fit?

It's been a pain trying to find replacements for mine as both mirrors are completely shot.

What color of interior do you have? I run across w123 sun visors intact.

--I tried that once,

and the distance from the pivot to the clip is different, but the mirror assy is transferable from the W201 to the W123. I have transplanted them in my 300D.

Any blue mirrors for 123 visors? The big ones with the lights?

Although I'm really considering modding some Acura visors with the fabric bendy end and the plastic extender. The winter low sun angles are killing me.

I know the W126 mirror assembly will fit into a W123 visor.

Both on my mirrors had broken lids when we bought the car 13 yrs ago. we babied them for a long time, until the lids fell off at the hinges.

well black interior is hard to find, but did run across a dark blue set out of a W126 at pnp. demolished the visors to get the mirrors out, and hot glued them into the W123. they blended right in, and can`t really tell the difference in color unless looking for it.

Do not use hot glue. on a 100deg day, the glue lets go and the mirror was hanging by the wires . finally took it to a auto glass shop, and had the guy use the urethane goop they seal windows with.

The W126 mirror is an upgrade as it has a curved metal piece in front of the light bulb to difuse the light so it isn`t so bright and blinding. also it has stronger hinges and light switch.

That would be on the 2nd gen w126. 1st gen are like the w123s with the "tab/dowel" type hinge.
