Introducing Project "SD"
5 Attachment(s)
It's official and it's on it's way to me. Project SD will soon be beginning.
What I know: It's a 1985 300SD with 270's thousand miles Wrecked in the front.. I believe it was Driven through a fence and then hit a small tree(?) if you all are interested I can post the VIN breakdown of it oh, I'd like to call it something other then chattanooga choo choo so, any ideas? Some pictures I have on it: |
i think it was said before
DANG that was some fence love the interior yummmmms red |
X2 on the interior, i wish I could find some in that color at the PNP.
|
from the pictures it looks like it's in perfect Condition. I'll know more in the morning. including an offload Video from the trailer... As the time Draws nearer... I'm getting more excited. all the parts have been pulled and are waiting...

That 300SD's facial expression is what I think about the interior.
Good luck man. I'm having a heavy debate with myself to do my rear axles on my own. This type of job is so much out of my reach. |
is the red color that desireable? I've never seen it in person but I would tend to think it wasnt rare..
|
If I knew you were looking for a project I would have sold you my car. It looks almost exactly like the one in the pictures.
|
A couple of names
1/ red devil 2/ fence sitter 3/ gate maker 4/ tree hugger 5/red rooster I hope the motor is in better condition than a choo - choo !! Looks like it was a nice car & will be again!!! |
That red interior is great.
|

OxBlood red is the best!
have it in my 88 190E and its fantastic. aall my friends detest it. |
Ew, I can't stand the red interiors.....if I were looking to buy another, and came across a one in perfect condition with that color I'd still walk away.
|
That "red wine" color interior is my favorite for the 123. I'm not so sure in the 126. I looked long and hard to find a 123 with it. I finally found one, the interior was mint but the car was a rust bucket (shame). I have yet to see one that has faded. Good find!:D I love it!

Red... its red alright
looks decent but not my color, or blue. I prefer black or grey |
as an update, I got the car. i've been too busy to take pictures. Will do tomorrow
