VIM 8 Pc. XZN Triple Square Bit Set 4m thru 16m

Morning all,

Have 82 300TD. Would it be over kill to purchase a whole set this size to work on car. I know I need 12mm for head bolts. Does anyone know what other sizes I might run into. One other ? on these would be .Go with the long bits or stubbies on length? Thanks for all your help as always. Rob

Absolutely. That set is about as useful as a spark plug socket or distributor wrench.

The rear hatch shocks use them. Size 10 I think. As far as I know those are the only two.

Head.

Cylinder head bolts are triple-square.

CV joint bolts are triple-squares on the newer MBs. 10mm I think. Also, the triple squares are used on VWs.

Unless you think you're going to buy another car, then it's a waste of money probably. Head bolts are the ONLY ones I've ever run into.
