Mine is hopelessly broken and Flopping around... Is there a way to Fix it or will I have to replace it? If I have to replace it how hard is it to take off?

looks fairly straight forward.. but I've never done anything with an air bag in it or does this car not have one?

It should have a drivers airbag. I believe the passenger airbag came with later W124s.

It'll say SRS (supplemental restraint system) on the steering wheel. There should also be a SRS light that comes on when you start the car and go off after a short period.

yep... I got one then.. my SRS light stays on.. Something with the sensors.

SRS Caution

There will be a Capacitor Pack that stores Electrical Energy for the SRS THAT
MUST BE UNPLUGGED (ALONG WITH THE CHASSIS BATTERY) Before ANY work
even NEAR the Airbag.

where is the capacitor plug located at?
