Driver's side outer edge tire wear
The outside edge of the front driver's side tire is wearing quicker than the inside, and very different from the passenger side wear pattern. Alignment checks OK. My wife's W126 does this as well, so I started looking at 80's W123/W126s whenever I've seen them parked. It seems that all the ones I've examined have this trait. More pronounced on custom wheeled cars. What causes it?

to properly align a mercedes you need a special tool called a seperator bar to push wheels out to toe out because of the elasticty of parts in front steerin parts. if the tool isnt used you will have tire wear problems
