Physical store to buy vacuum hose from

Has anybody been able to find an actual store that sold vacuum hoses instead of just online retailers?

I want to pick one up today, and it needs to be done before Sunday. I go back to school, while my sister will trash this car.

I have some in the engine that looks like it is on its way out, and I just want to do what I can to make everything run as best it can.

I called a MB dealer and they did not have any, advance auto parts didn't know what I was talking about.

Where are you located? I have tons lying in my garage that were pulled from a parts car.

Any pick n pulls near where you live?

You must mean the hard plastic line? Most auto parts stores only carry the rubber stuff, which is perfectly fine--just doesn't last as long.

I am in Bowie, MD between dc and Baltimore

There weren't any Mercedes at the junkyard nearby, but the junkyard was great when i had a 91 grand caravan

I had the opposite luck with finding the hoses. Only hard lines, not the rubber ones.

A truck shop will have that size and type of line. It's used for lots of stuff on trucks.

Hi
I bought mine at Autozone. Just take a piece in and show them. Any parts store should have it - it not just an MB item.

What's hard to come by are the 3 & 4 way connectors. But even with those many parts stores have plastic Ts etc that can be adapted.

You don't want to get hose & fittings from the junkyard anyway - they deteriorate with heat & age
Good Luck,
Joseph
