Bump.
Anyone had an idea? Are the manual actuator pushed in and once the pressure is reach it would push them out to open the wastegate? And what pressure would be resonnable on the E300TD in bars? Cheers. Olivier

Oliver,
I dont know if this is of use, on an Izuzu I have, it uses the charge pressure to actuate the wastegate. The actuator is spring loaded so it remains shut until the charge pressure goes over the preset max, it then has enough pressure in the wastegate actuator to overcome the spring force and open the wastegate.

Cheers Layback,
When the pressure overcome the spring, is the arm going out, like away from the actuator? On the E300 the spring loaded actuator is on open all the time, arm strecht away from it, then when I start, a pump suck it in to close the waste gate and then when the ECU think there is enough pressure it open it. I think this is the opposite with a manual actuator that work only on pressure(?),that its close ( arm fully retracted inside the actuator) when no boost, but as soon as there is enough boost the arm is puched away from the actuator. Is that correct? Cheers. Olivier Got it. Reading different post and find there are two acuator style , a pressure and vaccum. the E300TD as a vaccum, I just need to get a pressure one, but need to get the right BAR or PSI for it. Cheers.
