The owners manual says something different. I just basically says not to shut down if your coolant temp is too high. Sit at a high idle for a while to decrease the coolant temp. It says nothing about the turbo.

Here is another one.

Get rid of the MB air cleaner, Everybody KNOWS a K&N is better and who needs cold air induction anyway

How about this...

You NEED the ALDA to run properly

or this

REMOVE the ALDA to run properly

Oh and who can forget this...

Lovecraft makes good conversions that pay for themselves in a few weeks time

according to GreenBanz, engines don't need air filters unless you live on a dirt road.

My most frequent PO statements-

"The Fuel gauge works just fine."

"The Tach works just fine"

"Starts great!" followed by, "let me run in and get a can of ether"

My personal favorite-

"Mercedes cars were all designed for the autobahn"

Have heard that a few times:

Because of the Autobahn in Germany, German diesel cars were made to run at best efficiency when both the RPM and the Speed Guages have their needle pointing straight up.

I personnally don't agree. Efficiency for me is the rate at which internal chemical energy stored in the fuel is converted into mechanical energy.

As for confusing efficiency with mpg, I don't think either that the best mpg can be achieved at speeds over 120km/h...

That's my contribution to the myth story!

Bye

I guess I should have made this more in context. Ive had a number of conversations where it was always assumed that my car may have been slow to accelerate, but was capable of traveling at hundreds of miles per hour because, "mercedes cars were all designed for the autobahn" IE- super high topspeeds

layback, for somebody claiming to be old and educated you clearly have a lot of maturing to do. I suggest you calm down and try to understand that you don't know everything.
