Thermostat location
 

This is probably a 'duh' kind of question and I'm pretty sure I know it, but before I start removing bolts I wanted to double check. Where is the thermostat located on my '82 240d? I need to replace it and can't find a DIY or a description when I use the search. Thanks all!

Your 240 will be the same as that 300 as far as the thermostat goes . . .

Thanks, that was exactly where I suspected it was. Hopefully my bolts won't break when I pull them.
