Amazon shipping gallon jugs Mobil 1 Turbo Diesel Truck

Mobil 1 5w40 Turbo Diesel Truck - 1 gallon, Pack of 2

$45.46 free shipping.

That's the best deal I've seen recently....less than $6 per quart.

Thanks, that is a good deal; about the same as walmart, if walmart happens to have it in stock.

There is one around me that seems to have it about 80% of the time, the other 3 or 4 stores never seem to have it. I guess it's up to some department manager to decide if they stock it.

Edit: I just noticed you're in Barrington, RI. I grew up in Smithfield and went to URI (about 100 years ago).

Thanks for the tip. I shop Amazon for books and music but did not know they sell oil and automotive products. And free delivery. I don't know how they make a profit on this stuff.

Same here.... None of them have it around me. Or the Rotella Syn. I wind up buying the Rotella Syn. at auto parts stores and paying too much.

I'm jumping on this deal. I'll run it year round for that $.

Isn't that Dyno oil? I changed to Rotella 5-40W Synhetic 6 months ago and car never started and ran so well. Definitely I could notice. Plus I use it my car cars.

That's still about $6 more per oil change than Rotella Syn, not to mention if you buy it at autozone every 6th gallon is free, bringing the overall cost to about $16.75 a gallon...that's a lot cheaper.

M1 Turbo diesel truck is essentially "the other" 5w40 synthetic diesel oil. I ran it for about a year in ours, but it made the engine sound louder/clackier than on the Rotella Syn.

Currently we have a fleet of 4 diesels and 2 gassers (4x 617's, 1x M103, 1x M102) all running Rotella Syn 5w40 diesel oil, and they run great. We've probably clocked about 125,000 miles on the stuff so far between all the cars.

Thumbs up

Currently I am using the Mobil Delvac that was on sale last year for about $3/gallon after rebate. Works well for me.
