fuel lines leaking? 300sdl
Hi Guys,
I finished up some regular maintenance on my 87 300sdl the other day. Oil Filter, oil change trans fluid, trans filter both fuel filters. I got all the parts from diesel giant, they seem good quality. I had it parked outside for a couple of days on a very slightly uphill street, so if I took the handbrake off it might almost start to roll backwards. When I try and start it, it comes to life for about a second and then I have to turn it over for a couple of minutes. It's exactly like the start I have to do right after I change the fuel filters to get fuel going again.Once I get it going it's fine, and starts fine as long as I don't leave it in the same place overnight. I'd like to fix whatever it is before I kill my new battery. I don't see any really obvious signs of a diesel leak inside the engine compartment, is it possible that air is getting in the fuel lines somehow? Cheers Andrew

Leaking dv on the IP I think. Search around this is a common problem.
